Food
My parents were originally from Vietnam so I grow up in America eating a lot of Vietnamese food. One of the dishes my mom would make is "muc don thit" which is stuffed squid. She usually uses ground pork as stuffing. For this dish, I used ground chicken that I found at Food Lion. I also added some smoked sausages in the dish to give it a bit of spice. The squids looked cute all stuffed. Although some may not like squid, it's very delicious once you get used to the texture. We usually use toot... Continue reading ...

Virginia
We went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the first time in May 2013 and we were very happy with our adventure. The rollercoasters were scary, there was a lot to see with themed European countries and animals and the weather was perfect. See the pictures I took from that pretty day at the park below.

I saw Survivor tonight where Crybaby Dawn brutally backstabbed Brenda Lowe and when Brenda said "it's hurts", it hurted me too. I've never been so heated up about a player's backstab but this one was so wrong. I don't know what was in it for Dawn for allying with Cochran over sweet, loyal Brenda. Dawn is not going to get picked over Cochran if she is in the final 2 because of her bad move.
I know it's just a game but there have been good alliances that make you a more likeable player but Dawn'... Continue reading ...

Military Wife
I've been a housewife for the last 3.5 months and realized that there are many advantages and disadvantages for being a housewife without kids. We've been married for 6 months now and after my husband left the military when his term was over, we moved across country 4 months ago for a new adventure for his new job as a civilian. I had to leave my job behind as well.
At first I was scared about being home with just our dog while my husband was at work. I overcame that fear and it helps to have... Continue reading ...

Wedding
Recently, I've been pondering about wearing my wedding ring on my left hand and wearing my engagement ring on my right hand. I'm trying to think if anyone else has done that. Most of my friends and colleagues wear both their wedding ring and engagement ring on the left ring finger. I've been doing this for the last 6 months (since I got married) as well. However, I feel like my engagement ring looks better by itself. It also reminds me of when he proposed and that was a great memory. My rings... Continue reading ...
