Pregnancy
My husband and I decided to not take professional maternity photos for my pregnancy. It was due to a combination of forgetting, delaying and not wanting to spend money for pictures of my unattractive big belly. I figured I'd just wait for my child to be born to take family photos.
Anyway, since I am growing very massive today at 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant and there is a chance that the baby might arrive earlier than expected, I decided to take some selfies. People say that your nose grows w... Continue reading ...

My OB/GYN said that after 35 weeks, pregnant women have to get tested for Group B Strep so I had to get another vaginal exam where they stick a stick test in there. It was quick and painless. It's not like a cervical exam where they stick their fingers in there.
They said that about 20 - 30% of women have this and they want to find out ahead of time to ensure the baby doesn't get infected during delivery. It can cause stillbirth and serious infections for some babies.

Pregnancy
I was prescribed prenatal vitamins after the doctor confirmed that I was pregnant in June. It has folic acid which is supposed to be really good for expectant mothers. For some reason, I always get really tired and sleepy after I take them. I started taking them every day at the beginning and I would just get so tired, I couldn't do anything else but sleep. However, every time I would forget to pop one in my mouth, I wouldn't be tired that day. Then, I started to just switch off every other d... Continue reading ...

Pregnancy
I'm on my third trimester and I still crave the bad things like a Big Mac Combo Meal and an orange soda but I also crave the healthy stuff here and there as well. While my husband and I went to the grocery store, I really wanted some grapes and got myself a block of cheese as well. When I got home, I started putting some grapes and a piece of cheese on my small plate and thought a piece of sesame toast and a spoonful of peanut butter would go well with my snack. It was about 8pm when I was pu... Continue reading ...

Career
When I moved from California to South Carolina due to my husband's contract with the navy ending and he found a new job in a different state, I had to quit my job. After sadly turning in my resignation letter after 6 years of working for the company and taking a couple of weeks to move, someone asked me if I had put in my unemployment claim because I was a military wife.
I didn't think I was eligible because I voluntarily quit. But because I had to quit due to my military spouse's job situati... Continue reading ...

I've never had skin tags before I was pregnant so when I started noticing these things on my neck, I was petrified. I also noticed a mole that I've always had on my butt grew significantly larger. All of these skin changes were really making me worried so I started digging around the internet and they said that some women have these growths during pregnancy. Sometimes they go away after birth and sometimes they don't.
I'm planning on going to see a dermatologist after I give birth to get my m... Continue reading ...

I've been looking online to look for possible side projects I can get paid for and I see a lot of sketchy ads regarding work from home positions. I wish there are legitimate sites where I can find legitimate work from home options. A lot of them have exclamation points in their messages and no direct company name labeled on the ad.
Is any one going else through the same frustration?
Being a mommy soon makes it hard to physically leave your newborn and work. I wish there are more options on th... Continue reading ...

I'm 30 years old and I hate my mom. Trust me, she gave me very many valid reasons to feel this way. Although I would never tell her in front of her face, the truth is, I don't really like being around her.
My mom is a bully. She bullies everyone I know and it's always the "my way or the highway" mentality for her. She was also never supportive of my education and dreams. She always wants me to quit everything that I'm doing because she thinks it's never good enough. When I was working on my B... Continue reading ...

The day before New Year's Eve, I was so bummed out when I found out that one of my friends was throwing a party and that I couldn't celebrate with them because I lived so far away. It made me really home sick. They are thousands of miles away.
But then when New Year's Eve came, I was already tired by 8pm. How could I possibly stay up and party anyway if I were still in San Diego? I would not have had much fun and would not be of good company to any of my friends since they are not pregnant an... Continue reading ...
