Being from the West Coast and marrying with in laws from the East Coast

Posted by Till Master on Thursday, January 24, 2013
Being born and raised in San Diego was such a gift. I was very oblivious to how great we had it compare to East Coast weather, people and the days when American was born. I did learn a lot about American history since I was in elementary school but because DC, Maryland, Virginia and the Carolinas were so far away from California, I couldn't relate as well and picture in my head how fascinating history really is until I moved to the East Coast, where my husband's family is from.

All around are histories sites of when some of the famous battles took and the declaration of independent took place on the East Coast. It's amazing to be on this side of the country and I am so grateful that my husband has so much loving and supportive family members who have helped us start a new life here.
