Dealing with Post Partum after Childbirth

Posted by on Thursday, February 20, 2014 Under: pregnancy
It's been 13 days since I gave birth to my beautiful son and I'm dealing with postpartum. I've been crying a lot and we've had a lot of visitors and their dogs come stay at our house to meet the baby. We've also recently did a 2.5 hour road trip each way for 2 days so other family members can meet the baby as well. All of this on top of healing physically and emotionally has been hard. The baby is not even 2 weeks old yet.

Am I being too nice to let so many visitors come and see our baby, disregarding what I'm feeling and the pain I am still feeling from giving vaginal birth? I do have some stitches down there.
