I'm almost 33 weeks pregnant and I currently go to the office 4-5 days a week to work. I recently became a real estate agent because marketing positions are slim here in my town. I started going to real estate school when I was about 3 months pregnant and after I received my real estate license, I started working for a real estate office when I was 5 months pregnant.

However, before that, I was trying to find a job and started doing some part time work when I was 3 months pregnant (around the same time I started real estate school). I still do that part time job work now but it's not a regular schedule since I'm investing most of my time into real estate now.

Did you work when you were pregnant? Did you feel intellectually understimulated when you didn't work? I did. I guess I feel like I need to contribute or somehow try to make money, especially now that I am becoming a mother soon. Truthfully, not having an occupation did affect my self esteem. I didn't want to sit home all day looking for a job and not getting results so real estate seems like a real valid option.

When you're a real estate agent, you're in a business for yourself so I don't feel too much pressure sitting here in the office because I'm not paid hourly. Whether I come in at 9am or 10am, no one is going to reprimand me. I also get my own personal office here with a locked door and personal space so it's really nice. I feel really lucky that I have a husband that can support me while I get my feet wet into real estate.

Anyway, how did you feel when you were working while being pregnant? And if you didn't work, how did you feel when you didn't work when you were pregnant?
