Losing a lot of hair 4 months after giving birth

Posted by Sailorgirlfriend.com on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, In : Motherhood
Around 4 months after giving birth, I noticed a lot of hair from my head is falling out every time I finished showering and combing my hair. I was really worried. I wondered if it's because I lost my pregnancy weight so fast? I am also breastfeeding so I thought maybe it's because a lot of the nutrients is going to the baby during this time through my breast milk.

Then I asked my friend who has two kids if she went through the same thing. She said she did and that the doctor told her that 80%...

Things you gladfully gave up after giving birth to a baby

Posted by Sailorgirlfriend.com on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, In : Motherhood
My newborn is no longer a newborn now that he is 3 months old so I've been doing some reflecting. A lot has changed about me, from my hair to my way of thinking. I put him first before my needs and I am glad to do it. I just want him to grow up happy and strong. It's been 13 days since I gave birth to my beautiful son and I'm dealing with postpartum. I've been crying a lot and we've had a lot of visitors and their dogs come stay at our house to meet the baby. We've also recently did a 2.5 hour road trip each way for 2 days so other family members can meet the baby as well. All of this on top of healing physically and emotionally has been hard. The baby is not even 2 weeks old yet.

Am I being too nice to let so many visitors come and see our baby, dis...

Took me 6 days after Child Birth to Poop

Posted by Sailorgirlfriend.com on Thursday, February 13, 2014, In : pregnancy
The day finally came! I pooped! I gave birth 6 days ago and did not poop until today. The days up until this date has been brutal. I've been eating normally as well so I have no idea where all of that food is stored in my body. With the stitches down there and my nipples hurting from breastfeeding, this third problem made the last several days really uncomfortable.

So for those who has never given birth before, consider this a warning that you may not be able to poop for awhile! Fortunately, ...
