We went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for the first time in May 2013 and we were very happy with our adventure. The rollercoasters were scary, there was a lot to see with themed European countries and animals and the weather was perfect. See the pictures I took from that pretty day at the park below.

We bought a fun pass that's good for the whole summer because it was the same price as a one day pass for $70. However, if I were to do it all over again, I would go on the AAA website to get discounted tickets. It is $7.50 cheaper per adult and they don't offer AAA discounts at the gate, only on the AAA site.

We ate lunch at the Festhaus which has a free show as you sit and dine. Get ready to drop $15-$20 per meal. They serve bbq ribs, chicken, pizza and sausages as well a great line of desserts.

Lochness Monster is one of the many rides at Busch Gardens Williamsburg

We were about 1 feet from this parrot

You can also see a wolf and many other animals as you walk around Busch Gardens.

This is one of the less scarier rides but still very fun.

Overall, we had such a great experience at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, we can't wait to make use of our fun pass again this summer.

If you don't have a AAA card, you can also buy discount tickets here from SCbeachtrips.com's partner. You get to save $5.
