We went to Atlanta for the first time earlier this month on our first family mini-vacation. We have a 4 month old son. My husband booked at Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta (275 Baker St NW, Atlanta, GA 30313) for 2 nights and we had a very pleasant stay. They upgraded our room to the pent house level with a wonderful city view of downtown. Furthermore, they have a very delicious seafood restaurant that is attached to the property called Legal Sea Foods (now closed). See a collage of our hotel stay and some pictures of our food from Legal Seafood below.

Here is the view of the downtown area at night from Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta's pool area. It's amazing! I totally recommend not missing pool time at night! They have both an indoor and outdoor pool. It is family friendly.

We started our dining experience on our first night in Atlanta at the attaching restaurant, Legal Sea Foods.

They are also known for their oysters.

Here is what we ordered from Legal Seafood, the attaching restaurant to Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Atlanta

This was my husband's catfish entree with sweet mashed potatoes and green collards.

This was the crab cake appetizer that I ordered. It came with a nice sweet salad. I totally recommend it.

This was the clam chowder that I ordered that was recommended by my waitress. For $7.50 per bowl, it was worth every bite!
